So many leaders today desire power, wealth, control, and (sometimes) visibility & fame...

What they don't quite get is that good leadership means fostering a deep sense of empathy, having some integrity, taking accountability, learning how to listen, knowing how to serve, even when to be humble.

It is SO EASY to know these things if you are willing to put in even a minimal amount of effort. Acting on the new knowledge is harder, and that's a whole other skill set! But the lack of intellectual curiosity in *scientists* whose job it is to ask questions makes me crazy.

Judge Young is (rightly) horrified by masked ICE agents - but he also finds them cowardly:
