Go into Settings - Accessibility - Display and turn on Reduce Transparency. Makes it better, but not brilliant.

Print some spool rings for it, or rough the edges of the spool up with some sandpaper so it has more "grip".

I had something similar and it was because my router was blocking multicast packets. When I allowed them I was able to stream again. Nothing to do with Google Home at all.

The chances of get anything CLOSE to styrene poisoning from a single 3d printer is very slim. It's wildly overblown in the 3d printing space - it's mostly hearsay.

I sat in my office for ~4 years with 7 3d printers, one of which printed polycarbonate, and have had absolutely no health issues.

Until you install something that upgrades your kernel, now all your DKMS's need recompiling cos nothing works, but one won't recompile cos it's not compatible with that kernel version so that application is now no longer something you can use :P

This is one of the core things that is getting me to learn how to switch to Linux. There have been a few annoyances and challenges along the way but nothing unsolvable, and ZERO AI.
