I've gotten to see the games evolves in real time and improve on mechanics, and progress in its lore, and culminate with Arkham Shadows, which is a triumph. So I'm gonna dog on these games a lot, but I'm still gonna talk about them.

My relationship with Batman, and to this series specifically is so personal and longstanding that its lows cut so deep because they disappoint me so much. On the flip side of the coin, all of its highs feel like a triumph.

Literally, this clip encapsulates the series' portrayal of women, flat characterization, snappy quips and "Badass moments" as a replacement for dialogue in a tight 2 minutes. And yet I've groaned so many times at this clip, because I have played this game, so many times.

Actually, All-American trash was a huge inspiration for this project. I'm such a big fan of Brockhampton's music, as well as their visual language, so when I was looking for ideas, this artwork really stood out to me.
