I’m just annoyed at how lacking some people are with educating themselves on everything that’s been going on in the USA. My 10 year old understands what’s going on more then adults older then BOTH OF US.

So contacting your representatives, I couldn’t remember Joni Ernst’s name for a moment. And just thought Reynolds. So I thought ‘what the hell? I can write her too’. So I c&p’ed her & then wrote Ernst. Write your governors too. At the very least they can provide political cover to other reps.

Seeing that baby’s death in Kentucky, reminded me a coworker took work off to care for her grandbaby w/ whooping cough. It was the 3rd time she had done that for her grandkids. Then, knowing my kids got it but thinking maybe it was new when I worked there, I wondered when was the vaccine developed.

I remember during GWB’s re-election campaign my aunt saying she was voting for him because ‘he made this mess & now he needs to clean up.’ I was appalled and told he wasn’t child who needed to clean his room. I’m an elder millennial so this tracks.
They keep saying “presidents of war win elections,” but I don’t think that holds anymore. Gen Z and millennials lived through a useless war with useless results. We’re not inspired by flags and bombs—we want peace, stability, and a future that makes sense. #Pinks #Goodmorning

My oldest also read this multiple times.
Meant to mention this last week, but if you have a young person in your life who’s into history or graphic novels or just good books, buy them George Takei’s “They Called Us Enemy.” My oldest couldn’t put it down.
