this is a nightmare, it forces people to stay poor because they could accidentally hit an arbitrary limit. No one can give them gifts, birthday money, too dangerous. Because the value of assistance is often far greater than the fucking limits

I haven't seen the same outpouring of support for Rodney Hinton, Jr. that we saw for Luigi Mangione. GoFundMe took down the fundraiser for Hinton, who is accused of killing an officer shortly after he watched bodycam footage of police killing his 18-year-old son.
