I know, but, there were still other roads to fighting for how the funds were spent. I put (past and present tense) a lot of energy into that. This feels like a very different situation.

I never would have thought I would have turned into a tax resister, but, this situation is definitely pushing me into that direction.

Why office staff? It seems like all ICE does is hire people and hand them weapons and screwdrivers to change license plates. They aren't getting paid properly, they aren't vetted, there's no oversight. What tasks, exactly, are going to be executed in those offices by that support staff?
