I was tagged and asked to take a look at this claim - cos, well just look at it!🙄

Does it seem plausible that THE Trocadero is going to be turned into a Mosque?

It was pretty easy to debunk but I decided to do a deep dive into the reality AND the appalling press coverage

Surprisingly high water rates bill just landed. Almost all the increase due to hikes in @thameswater.bsky.social charges. Ouch.

Nathan Gill is no fringe politician.

He was the leader of the Reform Party and before that UKIP in Wales.

A Brexit Party MEP.

A friend and ally of Nigel Farage, who in 2016 called him:

"terrific," and "as honest as the day is long."

This is a MASSIVE story

Highly misleading headline (disappointing for @theguardian.com). The claim won because the company didn't follow proper process - there to protect everyone in these situations. Would hate to go back to a time where a manager can fire someone on a whim.

Lots of St George's and Union Flags on the A23 in Horley, mostly on lampposts. I'm proud of our country, but it felt they were there more to intimidate than celebrate.

Alas not seen in deepest darkest #Reigate today, but instead was heading West to Bath. Maybe it will come to us next time!
Orient Express just chugged through New Malden station. Probably heading to the mysterious east that is Reigate.
