#fediforum is over. All went well. Good discussions, great keynote, amazing demos. Attendees seem to be happy, or so they said.

Time for a nap.

I declare I have earned it! Ha!

At tbe "LinkedOut" session at FediForum, there was also some talk about the user-experience of those who need to figure out WHO to talk to at another company.

Maybe to set up a partnership, or to do a sale, etc.

At the "LinkedOut" session at FediForum, I talked a bit about — the user-experience pattern I had noticed a number of people in Tech using social-media apps in a professional way.

(Which is what I was trying to "encoded" into ProToGo.) […]

At the "LinkedOut" session at FediForm, there was also some talk about the needs of people who work in Academia.

That what people in Academia have to show-off to advance their career is different than people working in Tech, etc.

Another person during the "LinkedOut" session at FediForum suggested that perhaps we should thinking in terms of "ownership" rather than "hosting" — as many people aren't tech-savvvy enough to self-host.

At the "LinkedOut" session at FediForum, there was also talk of the same technology (that could be "installed" on a personal static web-site) also working for large shared hosts.

During this "LinkedOut" session, there was some talk of a Fediverse application for professionals — being able to be installed on a web-site — as part of a larger web-site.

The phrase "static site" and "static web-site" weren't used […]

I chose to go to the "LinkedOut" session because I had already been working a bit a Fediverse app for professionals.

I joined the "LinkedOut" session today, put on by @BjornW , on day 2 of FediForum.

The session was about "building a decentralized, federated,
user-friendly, sustainable professional network application
supporting the needs of professionals, companies and recruiters".

It was difficult […]

Would we need translations?

And, if we did, is it possible in an affordable way?
