What do we really know about working from home?
Covid made working from home some of the time normal for many people. But does it work?

who could have predicted that stopping international students, care workers and nurses from coming to the UK would damage the economy/public finances while yielding precisely no political benefits?

Oh. Me.

Stop the lies.

With Democrat Dr. Mike Jones’ victory in Virginia tonight, it’s clear that we have the momentum across the country. Voters are rejecting Trump’s unaffordable, out-of-touch agenda, and putting their faith in leaders who will fight for working families.
With this victory, Virginia Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger will continue to have a Democratic trifecta when she is sworn in next week.

Congrats, Senator-elect Jones!

The federal government under Donald Trump’s command is not protecting the peace. Trump has provoked chaos and violence in our towns and cities as part of his sick political theater. ICE has to leave Minnesota now.

Yesterday, an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Nicole Good.

We know what we saw: A mother, a daughter, a wife, and a U.S. citizen killed in her own community.

Minnesota investigators were forced out after an ICE-involved killing. The FBI swoops in. This isn’t justice- it’s a fucking cover-up! Trump and Noem built a system where federal agents police themselves after someone is murdered. That’s not law and order. That’s abuse of power.
"The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has just revealed that federal officials have 'reversed course,' and the investigation into the killing of a Minneapolis woman by an ICE agent will be conducted by the FBI without assistance from the BCA."

You lying piece of shit. I chaired the Minnesota DFL for all three of your runs here. I watched you lose. Three times. Minnesota never bought your con. And now, as Chair of the DNC, I’m looking forward to ending Trumpism for good in 2028 — not with lies, but with votes. Again.
Trump: "I feel I won Minnesota. I think I won it all three times. Nobody has won it since Richard Nixon won it many many years ago. I won it all three times in my opinion. It's a corrupt state ... I did so well in that state. The people were crying every time after."
