A reminder that the Israeli government is a rogue Kahanist government, set on destablising the region and transforming Israel into a fundamentalist authoritarian regime. It is pursuing a war of starvation and eradication in Gaza.
Anyone who engages with it as a normal government is an accomplice.

Quelle honte pour un journal soit disant de gauche de parler de 'déplacement' alors qu'on parle ici de déportation et de nettoyage ethnique

France has become a country where many commentators and politicians find it outrageous that some people celebrate the death of a Holocaust denier, a torturer of Algerians — an authentic fascist with all that that implies.

It is staggering how many international law scholars refuse to talk about Palestine in their teaching (at all). At this stage, especially with the involvement of the ICJ and ICC, this is professional misconduct. Students want to learn and talk about this and they are being denied.

They don't even try anymore. When TWAIL say that the civilising mission has not disappeared, it's not just a formula. There are those who need to be civilised, and others who belong to the civilised club and could do without living up to the standards they are supposed to represent.

So this year I've learned that it is possible to start a process of 'decolonizing the law school' without having the law school organising even one event on Gaza. What I've noticed, however, is a lot of effort to discuss anything but Gaza and the Palestinians.

Now I made it! The starter pack you've been looking for: Critical legal scholars, broadly understood - Marxist, LPE, postcolonial, TWAIL, feminist, queer approaches, etc., to law. I'll keep adding names, so feel free to tell me if you (or others) should be there (or shouldn't).
