In its prime, Twitter (long before Chief Twit took over) was a useful tool where you found out about world news, warts and all. Facebook was always just a place where people could reconnect with their high school buddies.

Also Spin did a list of the 40 weirdest "post-Nevermind" major label alternative albums in the wake of Nirvana. Lots of experimental stuff and Beavis and Butt-Head fare!

it remains really funny that this site was spun up to be a crypto/rationalist platform and then old time weird twitter people and others started moving over here in spring 2023 and ever since management has been mad they're successful but not in the way they wanted
