For the record (a term some Times writers and editors apparently need to re-familarize themselves with), that policy requires that anonymous "sources should be used only for information that we believe is newsworthy and credible, and that we are not able to report any other way."

Every now and then I am absolutely dumbstruck by how cheap TVs have gotten. Even just ten years ago something like this TV would have cost on the order of at least $3,000 in 2015 money, which would be about $4,000 today.

I tend to think that reality TV has been quite bad for society, but this - which was front and center when I opened Hulu this morning - feels like a very disturbing sign of where we are right now.

I'm seeing a lot of Discourse about whether AI is bad and it's making me think of this missile. People reacted with absolute disgust at this way of killing people, but while aerial weapons are all terrible, this is, in some sense, far less terrible by minimizing collateral damage.
