I actually refused a commission with a large sum of money due to this once!! I felt like my level of work quality wasn't going to be enough, so I refused the request
random thought bubble but have you ever considered opening commissions but you’re still unsatisfied with your current skill level that you feel weird charging money for them ?
its less of a “I’m terrible at it so I can’t” and more of “I haven’t reached a specific level I’m happy with” thing itms
