While Hallmark cards, red roses, dark chocolate and that “special dinner” are all wonderful, most beautiful is that “heart” behind it whether from your life partner, your best friend or even grandchild.

It was an honor to welcome them to Maryland’s Sixth District.

We all need a little more hope right now.

In a place often defined by debate and division, their quiet presence reminded us of something deeper: compassion, mindfulness, and our shared humanity.

Their journey wasn’t about politics — it was about peace. And their visit to the People’s House made that message even more powerful.

I am disgusted that this Administration is prioritizing political interest over the welfare of human lives. If he can erase scientific findings, who knows what else in history he will try to erase next.
