Checking out BlueSky because family is here and Twitter is no more. He/him. My degree is in history and my passion is in wildlife biology, conservation, and especially Herpetology. If you DM me and I don’t know you I may not answer so don’t get angry.
Snakes don’t “murder” people. Most bites are by accident and a number of them occur because people attempt to catch or kill the snakes, they are preventable with education. The truth is that snakes generally want nothing to do with us. We are not their prey, more often we are their predators.

Apparently it was mostly done in Saskatoon but I have heard a lot of stories of it being done elsewhere as well

This is something RCMP have been doing to indigenous people for a long time. It’s called a “starlight tour”.

I’m laughing because I did, in fact, just finish a book that did this. It was “Dolores Claiborne” by Stephen King. It was a very compelling read, in contrast to this, which I would not be able to read beyond this opening page

This reminds me of FAU campus where cats, opossums, raccoons, and iguanas all basically lived side by side raiding dumpsters and outdoor trash cans. Somehow burrowing owls thrived in their habitat setup. Idk how it is now though as I hadn’t been there since 2017 and they were already overdeveloping

MTG is in a strange and unenviable position. I think she’s genuinely afraid and wants to stop shit posting/shit talking but she is now physically incapable of ceasing. It’s probably going to kill her in the end.
