The #Alberta Education Minister says " #teachers have to make trade offs" in the labour dispute. It's not the teachers he's "trading off." It's the #students. #Dipshit.

Hey Dani, how about listening and learning from the experts for a change. Free Covid vaccines save our healthcare system $$$ mucho money. #ABPoli #ABLeg #CdnPoli

A study of nearly 300,000 people published today in the New England Journal of Medicine found “that last season’s 2024–2025 mRNA COVID vaccines reduced people’s risk of emergency department visits by 29 percent, their risk of hospitalizations by 39 percent and their risk of death by 64 percent.”
Annual COVID Vaccines Save Lives, New Study Shows
A new study shows that receiving an updated COVID vaccine reduced people’s risk of severe disease and death in all age groups, regardless of immunity from prior infection or vaccination

I decided I’ve been remiss not posting enough art. Politics have momentarily surpassed my true joy in life. From my Dragonfly series - My Soul Yearns, 12” x 9”, oil on panel. This series entwines the dragonfly with the figure to evoke themes of growth, healing & resilience. #Art #OilPainting
Against a dark background, a young women leans into the painting towards a larger than life orange and purple dragonfly flying towards her. The women, her mouth ever so slightly open, has her arm stretched out with a cupped hand, to welcome the strength and resilience that the dragonfly seems to offer. Purple and orange expressive brushstrokes swirl around both of them creating movement and mystery.

Weird how they put all their efforts into using technology to replace human creativity and art and then say creative arts degrees are useless.

We blundered into a lot of problems because we were so impressed by the potential upsides of something that we didn't pay enough attention to the perils.

But that's not the case here. The perils are so obvious and the upsides so minuscule.

We are doing this because it feels inevitable. That's it.

There will be more demand on our health care system because the AB Government has put up roadblocks to getting a Covid Vaccine. More demand on the system from more sick people that ripples and affects all areas of acute care. #AxeTheVaxTax #ABleg #ABpoli The admin fee is a burden on families.

Well, this is an unexpected twist under Smith’s new laws. Clever move, turning her own policy meant to support the separatists and her base against her. I doubt the UCP thought this one through to its logical conclusion. She’s opened up a real can of worms. #UCPFail #ABPoli #Resistance

B.C. Premier David Eby is clearly beyond frustrated with Danielle Smith's pipeline dreams threatening the B.C. economy.

In a fiery statement, he called her out directly stating...

"This is not the Danielle Smith show!"

The careful selection of the word is genius. Something on the service complimentary but in depth transformation to a worse outcome.

I’m a portrait artist always up for a challenge. A photo caught my attention that @feistywaters.com posted. With Jen’s permission, I attempted to capture her ‘Mona Lisa’ smile. How’d I do? It was great fun to paint. A few things were thrown in the background for artist license. #Art #PortraitArtist
An oil painting of a women wearing a lavender t-shirt that says Oatmeal Socialist across the front. She has a smile that suggests she is full of mischief. She has tattoos on her arms. She stands in a park and behind her is a sculpture found in Edmonton that is an organic shape in purples, pinks, blues, and yellow-greens to match the greens in the foliage around it.

It’s funny how wearing masks during a pandemic contagion was too much, but wearing them to beat up brown people is just fine.

I thought they interfered with heavy breathing.

"Get your security clearance!" seems to be the Canadian version of "Release the Epstein files!".

It is the only thing we want from Pierre Poilievre, and he is scared to death of the consequences.

THIS IS ALBERTA!!! You can't see many because of the buildings and trees. Smith has pissed off NORMAL Albertans with her radical extremist policies & attacks on services like education & healthcare. The teachers go on strike today with other unions pledging support. The people are rising! #cdnpoli
