Breaking: We’ve talked to multiple individuals who have confirmed that UNC-CH is merging SILS (library and information science) and SDSS (data science and society). Announcement will be tomorrow morning. Faculty were not consulted.

I think that's the whole thing. He can't bury the Epstein file so he shut down the gov.

I think Trump would rather Congress never vote to reopen the government than let Adelrita Grijalva trigger the Epstein Files discharge. And I bet he doesn’t have a plan other than the Insurrection Act.

I have created a different take on Wiki-Guided Google Search which I am very cleverly calling WGGS II.

It breaks down #Wikipedia articles into their headings and then does word frequency analysis for the keywords in each section. Build useful, focused Google searches from topical keyword sets!
Wiki-Guided Google Search at work. It has analyzed the Wikipedia article "Agrivoltaics" and found 6,371 total words with 2,308 unique terms and 21 topic sets. On the left is a list of the topic breakouts with the actual topics and related keywords on the right. Over that there's a Google search box.

If anyone’s struggled to keep up with my threads on why the genAI bubble
Is a bubble, here’s a simplified pictorial explanation, the plug is OpenAI and the sockets are Microsoft, Meta, Oracle, Nvidia, and AMD

And of course, it sounds so plausible, I seriously checked whether I had forgotten it, or the footnote was slightly wrong.
