'FuncoLand' is out NOW!

It's 2002. I'm 17.

In this 'Memories' episode, I take you back with me as I revisit those days, but also the experiences that'll stay with me for the rest of my life.

I've been a Predator fan since I saw the original as a kid, and honestly? Predator: Badlands absolutely ruled.

I never thought I'd like the idea of a Yautja as the protagonist, but it worked for me. This was a really fun time in the theater!

I'll definitely be picking up a physical copy of this.

I always reccommend Commander Keen 4 and 5 (originally for DOS) they were basically my Mario since I didn’t get even a gameboy until I was sixteen

Mystical Ninja 64. Amazing soundtrack. Doesn't take itself seriously. Solid platformer with mech battles. 4 playable characters. There's even a laugh track!

It's super fun and a little kooky!

Goof Troop, one of the most enjoyable, charming and clever co-op games out there.

I wish it was easily accessible outside of having the actual SNES cartridge or through emulation, because it is a really special little gem of a game that deserves to be played.

Super Metroid. I think it holds up really well (though I would not be upset if they released a remake 🫨)

Absolutely one of the best co-op play experiences you can have with a sibling that never ever ends in a fight

HALO 2 officially launched 21 years ago today, November 9th, 2004.

I was so excited for HALO 2. I bought the soundtrack on CD and jammed out to "Blow Me Away" by Breaking Benjamin on my way to the midnight launch to pick up my copy.

Years of LAN parties with friends would follow. Great memories.
