I stand by my decision to never fit the composite part of the Amiga 1200 when I built my two ReAmiga 1200s. This pic was taken in 2022 and I've still never felt a need for it.
Originally, a decision made due to shortage of the right capacitors but yeah, who the heck needs composite on an #Amiga.

Random #CD32 pic coz why not. Still love this game too, though I admit I've never actually finished it. Definitely need that mouse to play it properly though.

Yep, PSU has failed - still producing AC but not DC. I guess this must have been the only reason the C64C was sold as not working.

Ah boooo. This #C64 was sold as not working, and a few keys don't work for sure, and I don't trust the PSU...
However everything else works. Was looking forward to fixing it, but hey a cheap C64C! 😄

First test, and it boots!
... except that screen came up far too quickly, implying some of the RAM (or an IC connected to it) is not working.
A quick poke and peek above 32768 shows it's an issue with the upper memory. (But then it wouldn't likely boot if the lower RAM was failing)

Finally got around to replacing the regulator and doing the composite mod on this Issue 2 #ZXSpectrum 48K.
Normally, that modern regulator replacement wouldn't fit in the case attached straight up like that, but this is the one from the DK'Tronics keyboard case so not an issue here.

Latest retro coding book acquisition, and continuing my building of the Inside Macintosh collection.
This thing is huge - hard to tell the exact page count because of the way its broken down into sections but still, it gives War and Peace a run for its money.

5. ZX Spectrum 48k DK'Tronics Keyboard
Grabbed this off eBay, as it holds a lot of nostalgia for me (the keyboard). It has an Issue Two Speccy inside, which I still need to grab some parts for to make sure it won't fail on start up. It will be saved!

Been coding on this wonderful machine, thanks to some source code an old colleague of mine gave me a while back to play with. Been making it more standardised for TOS and able to work on the Falcon, while looking to improve and release the music app itself (it was never released).

Finally got one of these now I'm back in the UK 😍 Added new sockets for the ROMs, a Gotek and SD card reader to load stuff, replaced the clock chip with a modern equivalent and played lots of games I've never played before - though mainly Level 9 adventures and Repton.

Recapped the PSU which had started to behave erratically (fish smell galore when the caps came off). This repair led me to playing a lot of Curse of the Azure Bonds, which has a fantastic outing on the 68k Mac.

Two Dragon 32s working. I don't have a joystick here so Mario is on a continuous run to nowhere... but I still get nostalgia from these visuals 😊

I don't have another screen to try right now so I guess I'm stuck with it 😭😁
