With Yoon removed from office today, by my count that makes 34 democratic leaders convicted since 2010. Only one—Trump—faced no real consequences. Trump's actions weren't uncommon. What was exceptional was how our institutions failed to hold him accountable.

I don’t think people are paying enough attention to the fact that the North Carolina court of appeals just ruled that 65,000 votes don’t count, and that the Republican Supreme Court candidate who lost actually won.
This will be appealed, but make no mistake: they’re trying to steal this election.

@kenmartin.bsky.social I really hope that you remove the old people in the democratic party. They need to go. You need to be putting actual progressives to run in elections, not these centrists who do nothing but act like Republicans. If you want a better party, you need to remove the old guard.
