I was looking to see if I'd anything for Rob's #BirdOfTheDay theme of #Reflections and thought I'd post this reflection of a Gray Heron. I posted the original already but I noticed the reflection looked interesting and the bird has an nice new hair do.

For Rob's #BirdOfTheDay #Ducks theme it gives me a chance to post this beautiful little girl from our local park. I usually have Daphne posing for photos but this is her friend Denise today.

Wanna see Jupiter in the sky tonight? It’s the bright “star” near the almost-full Moon. Both Jupiter & Earth are currently on the same side of the Sun, so we’re close to each other. Even so, due to light travel time, you see Jupiter only as it once was, 36 mins ago.

No arrests of the ICE thugs who murdered Alex Pretti, Renee Good, or Keith Porter. No arrests of anyone in the Epstein Files. But they arrested Don Lemon because of his journalism.

Miltown Malbay’s Design Bank is paying it forward
New life has being breathed into Miltown Malbay over the course of 2025 with the opening of Design Bank, a social enterprise initiative that has been revitalising rural creativity in West Clare. Across rural Ireland, vacant buildings often stick out like sore thumbs on the streetscape however, in Miltown Malbay, one such building – a former bank – has been transformed into a thriving hub of creativity thanks to the vision of Aoife O’Malley and the support of the LEADER programme.

The benefit of being a physical media junkie and using no streaming service for music when the Internet is out due to an ice storm is I don't lose access to music. If power goes out, I switch to my backup battery powered mp3 drives!
