The Polykubos X68000 RAM + MIDI board came in, but sadly trying to use the midi output at 24mhz results in errors. Also, the ram doesn’t seem to work when the system is running at 24mhz… so I guess the aje_fr board is still the best for my current needs.

A Sharp X68000 has been a dream for a long time but I didn't expect to find a working model stateside, much less one in stellar condition with a working hard drive and the incredibly cool Cyber Stick!

Can’t sleep, I’m too excited for a package that’s coming tomorrow. I’m getting 6MB of internal ram to mount by the cpu in my X68000, mostly because I read that internal RAM can run at higher clock speeds whereas ram on the IO ports on the back is clocked at 10mhz always.

I played a few rounds of City Trial in Kirby Air Riders with my sister and brother-in-law and it was so fun! It’s amazing that such a great couch multiplayer game was released in 2025.

I’ve been having a great time learning more about the X68000 and creating patches to fix issues in games. Hopefully I can branch out into making translations at some point!

I imported the 2019 BEEP release of Cotton for X68000! Absolutely love the full color manual and extras, they really nailed it.
Also dumped the disks and it works off my FDX68 and ZuluSCSI!

Aquales for the X68000 has had a hard drive installation kit floating around for a while now, but one issue that bothered me is that the game would reboot the entire system after beating any of the stage bosses.
I fixed that problem and now the game runs perfectly!
