I really do think that Dawntrail was actually really good and the hate surrounding this expansion has been pretty unconstructive. I truly don't care if people have differing opinions or thoughts but the community has been quite hostile towards people who voice their love for it.

also to folks who think it's ok to use AI in any capacity: our electricity bill went up several hundred $ and we were barely scraping by already. Im thankful not to be near a data center, but we're still feeling it.

FFXIV is chock full of them, but I love this one in Sirensong Sea. It doesn't come at any emotional moment, it just appears, and everyone I've seen play it always takes a moment to go "whoa..." when they see it.

Modern media criticism has legitimately poisoned people's brains into rejecting personal analysis in place of echoing the sentiments of popular creators. I really want to find more positively slanted creators in this space; people analysing commonly perceived "bad" media more emphatically.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has always been the one game in the series I just never went on to finish; but after a solid week of gritting my teeth through it, that's finally changed! It...wasn't a terribly enjoyable experience, altogether, but it has some truly high high's!
