Even someone w shitty abusive parents wants their parents to love them. So this need is organic & doesn't have anything to do w their parents. This is why it's easy to transfer this need to God/Country.

If you are reasonably intelligent, you should able to understand what's going on with Trump. Right? But half the country supports him. That means half the country is not very bright? I don't think intelligence works like that. Feelings always win and emotional intelligence is a different thing.

I've read horror stories about people who have gone to places like UAE and Qatar and they've been traumatized into dust or killed. Most stories involve people who went there to work, but some are from tourists.
