Is there no legislative route in US to sectioning someone for their own good let alone being a danger to everyone else?

ICE terrorizes US citizens 🇺🇸
🚨This woman was driving to work in Chicago when a double tented suburban swerved into her vehicle. She was pulled from her vehicle and thrown into their vehicle, “beaten, bloodied, and barefoot.” She is a United States citizen. 1/2

Why anyone would want to visit the despotic USA is a mystery to me and the US hospitality industry apparently.
🇨🇦 If you are a Canadian who still wants to travel to the US, you may want to put that thought aside.
The US Thought Police want your social/personal history for the last five years.
If you have said anything against Felon 47 you might be banned or jailed.

And folk wonder why the average citizen has lost faith in politicians telling the truth…….
just catching up with this - an amazing example of misleading statistics.

Badenoch tries to blame the government for teacher numbers falling, but the fall was between November 2023 *and November 2024* (it's just that the figures were published in 2025). we don't have 2025 figure.

I can’t help thinking that when, in future, people ask what UK political leaders said as it became undeniable that US saw European liberal democracy as its no1 strategic foe, Starmer and others will regret that the answer is “not much, shuffled awkwardly, looked at their feet”.

Can anyone tell me on the day that Jeremy Hunt gets knighted how many hopeless Tory ministers have been rewarded for the damage inflicted on the UK with a peerage? Just wondering.
