Opinion | Musk Said No One Has Died Since Aid Was Cut. That Isn’t True.
A journey through the front lines of global poverty shows that when the world’s richest men slash aid for the world’s poorest children, the result is sickness, starvation and death.

Imagine if you added features to software according to a steady flow of feature requests. You take a feature request and, to make sure you understand it, clarify and specify what constitutes acceptance of the feature in some detail. In fact, just to be sure, make the acceptance criteria executable.

High Court hearing today on Thames Water plan to borrow another £3bn.

Already has £17bn debt, mostly to fund dividends, wants 53% price hike.

Nearly a third of customer bill covers interest payments. More debt= higher bills.

Let it go bankrupt. Nationalise at nominal price.

Attempting to redress a hole in my geek credentials, namely Star Trek. I decided to watch them all. Unfortunately this includes the first series which I have to admit I expected more from. I expected shakey special effects and cheesy lines but I wasn’t expecting such bad acting and meh stories!

I work with young people and there is NOTHING for them to do in England. They can’t hang out as they get moved on, cinema or bowling or even just McDonalds is expensive - and that’s if you can get there. We have made leisure centres member only too. Plus schools all use apps and hw is online.
A really big difference I noticed between Germany and the UK this summer was that teens were barely on their phones and spent hours and hours swimming at local municipal pools with their friends or playing informal sports, often for just a couple of euros. We have few comparable facilities here.
