And even aside from that! The whole “ritual” of the Jewish Sabbath is “God commanded that the seventh day be a day of rest” which, okay? Pretty inoffensive and Christianity-consistent?

It’s refreshing to elect a leader who recognizes climate change is real, that its impact falls disproportionately on vulnerable communities, & that our government needs to take urgent action to protect all of us from extreme weather, pollution, and other environmental dangers.

I believe the issue here is that the way things are done currently is explicitly written into the city charter, so a charter amendment was required
