Yep! I don't know any of his escapades, but I was certainly around during that time. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the folks I knew had stories about him. I played at Trader Joe's and all those Midtown Memphis venues. Thanks for sharing that article.

Our MAGA Representative, Andy Ogles, has done nothing to address the gun violence situation that has caused so much loss and pain. In fact, he sent out Christmas cards with his family standing in front of their tree holding the very kind of guns used in many of these mass shootings.

I live in TN District 5, the same district that runs from Nashville (where these parent lost their child) to my county, which is closer to Alabama than Nashville. Creative gerrymandering by the TN MAGA supermajority ensured Nashville would never be a Democratic stronghold. 2/3

The 60s had its highs, but the lows were crushing. Growing up in Memphis added another layer of that decade's madness when Martin Luther King was murdered. It is helpful to remember those times because, as dark as it is, we'll get through this. We will. 2/2
