Whenever I see unmasked Samus posted from the NES Metroid it's always in the leotard or bikini. You never really see the one where she's solely without a helmet where the palette makes her ginger and the suit blocks off the rest of her hair having it look shorter and frizzy.

This is looking like my path for the foreseeable future too. GenAI has caused low-background steel for games.

I don't think I've ever made it past the second biome in Spelunky 2 cus as far as the first area is concerned it's a bit tedious in the enemy types and mounts, but also very uninteresting in how the last section of it is nearly static in generation. I still really wanna give it a harder try one day.

Stuff like this is why it frustrates me to no end that people do free PR for Valve and say "this is why they deserve 30%!" or "the only good monopoly!" for doing bog standard things like releasing hardware

- The writer of the "I hate muslims" review has doubled down, and added that they also hate transgender people

I can't get behind that quote cus in no way does NGPC's library come close to Game Boy but it has some hits. The fighting games, Card Fighters, Faselei, Biomotor Unitron, the Metal Slugs, and the clicky stick is great.

I'm seeing a lot of talk about the Helldivers 2 PC size being reduced from 150~GB to 23GB.
Something important to note is that this wasn't some magic optimization, it was always that smaller size on consoles. They dramatically blew up the size for PC with dupe assets for mechanical hard drives.
