It would take a two-word amendment to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 to subject ICE agents and other federal law enforcement officers to the same liability for constitutional violations that local and state officers currently face.

Jerome Powell is the customer for this renovation ! So why wouldn't DOJ be looking at the contractors. How many people have had work done on their home which cost much more then originally bid. Rarely it is the customers fault except to the extent the invoices were ignored.

I think it’s important to point out: ICE does NOT have the same authority as a police officer. They do NOT have the power to enforce laws, only to engage in their specific tasks.
IE: they don’t do traffic, etc. impeding traffic is not a penalty ICE can enforce against
