Still naive enough to believe government is for the people. Rapidly becoming virulently anti-capitalist.

I hope someone draws this wonderful story about Tom Stoppard's Arcadia and the power of the arts to help us see things differently, to the attention of our Education Secretary. Do read it, it will lift your spirits.

This will make an exciting movie if we survive it. If we don’t survive it future generations will ask why we didn’t do more to stop them. Please Congress, I prefer the great movie scenario.

Last year, when I was at MSNBC, I did a 10-minute deep-dive into RFK Jr's anti-vaxxer role in the measles outbreak that killed dozens and dozens of kids in Samoa.

I hope every Senator voting in his confirmation process for HHS knows about this crucial and awful story:

Ok, I’ve started a thing. I’m brushing up my French after 45 years of not using it. It’s not cheap, but so far it’s way more effective than the half dozen language apps I’ve tried. However you have to be rated intermediate (A2/B1) to start.

Good news for once!

We’ve found a 300-year-old coral that’s so big it’s visible from space. It’s now considered the world’s largest. Best of all: it’s not yet harmed by climate change & global warming.

It’s being called a beacon of hope. Let it also be a call to action! #DoSomething 🧵
