Any nation with the capability should be aiming their satellites toward El Paso, TX to see what we're trying to hide

Is it just me or does the shut down of air space around El Paso, TX make you very nervous? Like what atrocity are we trying to ensure no one can see from the air?

Self-defense classes often teach things like "do exactly what an attacker tells you not to do". If they tell you not to scream, you scream

We're at this stage with the Trump administration. We need to resist EVERYTHING they want us to do.

Quoting RATM: Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me.

I know we're all up in arms about Ring selling our doorbell video to ICE. I can pretty much guarantee Google is with their Nest products too, though

We keep discussing whether Trump has the power to inflict tariffs on other countries.

I feel that what keeps getting lost in Trump's tariff war is their effectiveness. It's a tax on Americans: his only tool is to shoot Americans in the foot and make us too poor to buy foreign goods. Literally

Like this feels so obvious. If you have a chance to stop giving money to the state funded terrorist organization that keeps invading US cities, you take it

You don't offer to train the terrorists better. You don't demand slightly less terror. You stop funding them

FWIW, Art of the Deal has about 93,000 words total in it.

Trump is in the Epstein files as if you'd just written 11 copies of Art of the Deal with only Trump's name with no other words
Trump is in the unredacted Epstein files "more than a million times," Raskin alleges
One document recounts that Trump said he "never" asked Epstein to leave Mar-a-Lago.

The US has a president who diddles kids. Like we all know that now, right?

The redactions, all of them, basically just create a giant Trump shaped hole made ever more obvious by his absence

Rep. Jamie Raskin now says Trump's name is mentioned "more than a million times" in the un-redacted version of the Epstein files that were released nearly two weeks ago.

This doesn't include the other three million files that have yet to be released.

A million times in the first 3.5 million files.

It's a tactic we see over and over. Define a term as bad: pornography. Then you change what you want to eliminate (LGBTQ+ people in public) to pornography and let that transitive property make the new this suddenly bad too.

We've seen it with "DEI", "CRT", "woke" and "antifa" previously recently
When a sitting representative refers to the Super Bowl halftime show as “pornography,” people should use that to reflect on how they and other representatives are simultaneously working to ban, censor, and restrict “pornography” and what that actually means

The anonymity is what allows them to commit their atrocities. Only reason they need it
Here's what DHS doesn't want you to know: Working for ICE is one of the safest jobs in America — and last year was the second-safest year for the agency on record.

And the doxxing? It hasn't actually happened even once.

ICE's Masks Are All a Lie
Working for ICE is actually less dangerous than being an elementary school student in America.

I recently saw someone who had developed some similar "we can determine your ideology via social media" here on Bluesky and all I'd thought was that the government could definitely do harm with that tool
How TikTok 2.0 Became a Weapon for ICE
In just one week, the company has gone from being Gen Z’s preferred social media platform to a tool for spying on Americans and the suppression of information.

The GOP governing style is basically pretending to throw a ball to us, their dog, and then admonishing us for being stupid enough to not see they just put it behind their back.

They never throw the ball, so we need to learn to watch their actions and not their pretend actions

Wares: goods or services for sale
Warehouse: place to store wares
Slavery: selling people as wares
In the last month ICE has bought warehouses in:

- Hagerstown, MD: $102 million
- Surprise, AZ: $70 million
- Hamburg, PA: $87 million
- Tremont, PA: $120 million
- San Antonio, TX: $82 million
- El Paso, TX: $123 million
- Social Circle, GA: price unknown

This is unprecedented.

Is "irony" the right term for people who watch the Super Bowl but turn off the half time show to make a point to the NFL that they disapprove of it?

Seems like they had little trouble overstating it, contrary to Matt Walsh's statement

I, for one, to not understand the lyrics to most any song, regardless of its language. I assume it is audio processing problems, mixed with the unpredictability of lyrics, but still...

If you didn't understand Bad Bunny's lyrics, you're now in my world. It's peaceful. Lyrics don't have to be heard

I again point out the absurdity of raiding a GA election ofc to find "fraudulent" ballots over 5 years after the election you feel was stolen. An election office that has since ran at least two national elections

Even if you buy into their stupid narrative, this would make no sense

Seeing how our president loves putting his name on things, and he's in the Epstein files 38000 times, how about we rename them the Trump/Epstein files in his honor?
February 8, 2026 at 5:27 PM
Everywhere except the US, even distant association with Epstein is fatal for careers.

In the US, it's like "sure, they were avowed best friends for years and yes, they were in each others' weddings, and one introduced the other to his wife. But surely you don't think Trump knew about Epstein...."
