Older kids are at their first all-day day camp this summer. I asked them their favourite part of the experience thinking it would be the kids, games, etc. . . Nope, it was playing tic tac toe with the 80 yr old Salvation Army major (my kid also wants a rematch)

During the pandemic, evangelicals told me that as a disabled person my potential death was an acceptable risk so they could gather for coffee break. The DnD community urged me to remember that my worth was in just being here not in what I produce. I think of that a lot these days. . .
