Wild to me that the same Democrats that have been ambivalent to supportive of bans on wearing masks at protests, while simultaneously buying their police face recognition tech, while simultaneously creating federal grants for more police tech---now ask us where the protests are.

We are seeing happen now what Gramsci always knew would happen, a total war of position, in which hegemony is cultural, legal, and political. The destruction of unions, the outlawing of protest, the demonization of 'the other'. They are all the workings of unfettered, unopposed, capitalism.
