The last thing to do is annotate the epub to add the extra resources to the @manifoldscholar.bsky.social digital edition of the @uncpress.bsky.social book. It has been a lot of extra work to add the GIS story maps and Tableau data visualisations but I think it will be worth it! #OpenAccess

Two days ago, the President of the United States called for the murder of Congressional officials, & we've just entirely moved on as a country. Total failure of every societal & political institution. We are not a serious country.
Just a reminder that it's nice the Mamdani thing went better than everyone expected, but Trump should still be immediately impeached & removed for unprecedented things that were once beyond the pale of American politics.
It's always hard to pick a worst day politically, but today the president called for the death of members of the opposition party, and the administration decided that people were being too hard on the swastika

I was already in my twenties when this came out and I thought it was the best thing I’d ever heard and it’s still my all time favourite song. All through writing my recent book I was humming “some of those that work forces are the same that burn crosses” and it’s true today as it ever was

The best coffee in America is the one I make in my own kitchen with my Barazza, Aeropress, and single origin Guatemalan beans roasted by partners coffee (who, no coincidence, started as Australia’s Toby’s Estate in Brooklyn). At least coffee is not one thing I will miss here #coffeesnob
