Just ran out of my grasp of US Constitution from US politics class at Uni Auckland in 1969, I was taught that Speaker of the house was 3rd in line
Guessing that by that time, the US would be busily fragmenting into Cascadia, New Foundlandia, Old Mexico etc, because shit would be thoroughly fucked up

Kind of like I can see a pile of logs and know instantly that I can carry 4 of them to the house, lift, but not carry half a dozen, but I'll need to cut the rest or get the tractor, weight is a property of the material
But the 4 I can carry, the task taking 15 minutes is there already, in the logs

Related, after 25yrs in radio, I experience time as a "physical property"
If I see a job to be done, or a nap, I will decide it will take ~40min, set a timer, and most often be packing up when the timer goes
I can also, fairly reliably answer "what time is it" within 5min
Weirdly, my cows do it too

Yep, any number up to ~10,000 I can also do Roman Numerals but I can only calculate with Arabic and then only to maybe 12 ie "see 3, now add 4, how many is that?"
I can also see and visualise collections of items up to about 7, after which they become "2 lots of 4 or 5"
OTOH, I am mostly crap at art

With my cows there is a clear difference between how they interact with each other and with me, and I spend time trying to think myself into their state of mind
for example when a calf is born I name her, and her mother "knows" her name before the calf does
feels like a cognitive continuum

Now it’s hard to pin down exactly what investors fear, perhaps because they aren’t sure themselves. But many previously inconceivable possibilities are now quite conceivable given the Trump administration’s radicalism. Runaway inflation hidden by rigged official statistics? Expropriation of the reserves of governments Trump doesn’t like? Forced conversion of foreign assets into 100-year bonds? Given the administration’s record so far, how confident are you that none of these things could possibly happen?

As I said at the top of this piece, I normally pay don’t pay much attention to gold, which doesn’t play an important role in the modern economy. But I believe that the recent runup in gold prices is telling us something — namely, that the world is losing faith in America.

And perhaps Ken Griffin’s warnings are also telling us that even ultra-rich hedge fund titans are starting to worry about the monster they helped create.

On further thought, I also use something like a vibe for seeing things on the property without actually looking
dock and "know" there is a tarweed "over there" but then have to look for it to pull it out
Tho that may just be 14 years of walking the place every day so the detail of the map is high

Must admit I struggle to get that level of particularity from a vibe, for me a vibe is knowing, without necessarily being able to say why, that checking the udder of a new 350kg cow right now would NOT be a good idea
