In June, Latricia Green pleaded for a protection order from her ex-husband. It was denied. She asked again in July. It wasn’t served.

She was shot and killed by her ex-husband this morning inside a Detroit hospital
Last month, hospital shooting victim sought protection from ex 'before this goes too far'
The cries for help from Latricia Green appeared in black and white, first in a personal protection order sought on June 13th of this year in Wayne County Circuit Court.

Congress has to pass a budget, and if the Republicans who represent most of rural America wanted, they could demand that the farmers who got screwed by the Trump administration be made whole.

Of course, that would require standing up for their constituents. Wonder what they'll do?
Farmers who signed contracts w USDA under IRA programs paid upfront to build fencing, plant new crops, install renewable energy systems w guarantees that feds would issue grants/loan guarantees to cover at least part of their costs.
