Seeing old friends in the holidays has been a reminder as to how impossible it is to break into the arts if you're working class. The cash isn't there, the time isn't there, the knowledge isn't there. You can't be it if you don't see it. And if you do succeed, it may not be for long.

Excellent to see Labour getting rid of the arbitrary deadline to register all historic rights of way.

Landowning lobbyists had got the Tories to put in a deadline of 2031 to register 49,000 miles of lost paths.

Next step: a right of responsible access, please!
