He did a total 180 too, because now he's more attached than ever. 😅
He also spent his first night inside our house and slept on my bed with me. IDK if he'll sleep all night every night or just while he continues recovering, but regardless, I'm so happy to have him back and see him healthy. 🥹🥰💛

Mom & I spent the whole weekend very worried about Simba, but thankfully, he's slowly but surely improving.
Today, he entered the house on his own to eat, which is huge because he didn't even want to step in after his surgery. He also ate on his own and a larger amount.

UPDATE ON THIS:
Despite Simba being an absolute warrior and fighting the anesthesia as hard as he could, the doctor was able to extract the tooth!
And... he also neutered SImba. 😅
We didn't plan that at ALL, but the vet said now that he was under meds was the perfect opportunity to do so. (⬇️)

Since Simba's never ridden in the car and we don't have a carrier, I contacted a vet who makes house calls so Simba can at least remain in a familiar and safe environment and doesn't try to run away.
Here's hoping the vet can help him and that everything will turn out okay. Prayers appreciated.

UPDATE ON THIS:

Two nights ago, I heard some cats fighting, and yesterday morning, Simba arrived home with a protuding tooth and some blood in his mouth, and spent all day feeling quite miserable. If there's one thing that you'll never get me to do, it's lose hope. Things in animation and film are rough now and I'm worried, but I'm not gonna concede to the worst possibilities and think it's completely lost. I know things can and will get better. I want to stay strong.

Tomorrow I'm leaving on a little weekend trip for my birthday. We've been planning it since the beginning of the year and I can't believe it's almost time.
