I think people reeeeealllly overestimate the role of trade and industrial policy in US dominance of heavy industry in the 1950s and really underestimate the importance of having dropped high explosives on every facility in Japan or Germany capable of manufacturing a ball bearing

Tillis needs to be held accountable for his vote on SECDEF. He knew he was voting for a talking head, abusive alcoholic and in doing so risks lives of American personnel. Now he's avoiding town halls and fundraising at country clubs.

I think given how many scammers abuse PayPal invoices now and how little PayPal has done about it I can officially say PayPal sucks now
