yeah after a bit of a wobble about ten years ago when they released and quietly retired some of the worst laptops in history they've been pretty solid (on the hardware, at least - the less said about Apple "intelligence" the better)

I will say they are very convenient if you are a slave to the Apple ecosystem and have to switch between a laptop and phone regularly, and the music sounds much less shit than you’d expect which is something

Honestly I think bluetooth-by-default is as big a culprit too. *i* find any non-native bluetooth connection fiddly as hell and I use them upwards of 10 times a day, cannot imagine my dad trying to connect a pair
