Update...it fits my 179 cm Nordica Navigators, 180 cm Surface Double Times, and skiing gear... AND I can still row my own gears.

Hell frickin' yes.

On test this week, Subaru's 2025 BRZ tS! This is actually my second go in the more athletic tS, which I first evaluated in late November of 2024. I adored this car then and I'm sure I'll adore it again now. And! Subaru outfitted this tS for the winter with Bridgestone Blizzaks and rubber mats inside

Dying to know how much these optional 50-spoke (50!) wheels cost on the newly refreshed 2027 Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

They're gorgeous.

(Not sure how well this will show quality-wise but here's my quick video recap if you're not a fan of the Gram). Enjoy!

It could use a little bit more unique PRO-4X attire but otherwise this 2026 Armada PRO-4X's cabin is *excellent*.

Super comfortable seats and ride, A+ ergonomics for real actual switchgear, no issues with Android Auto.

Motion for NHTSA to mandate cleaners and de-icers on all forward-facing ADAS sensors?

Yes please.

Also this 2026 Nissan Armada PRO-4X is definitely an excellent chariot for skiing road trips.

Granted this isn't of course the jackass himself, but man this company is trash.

Meanwhile, Faraday Future is apparently now building humanoid robots.

I'm sure they're just as legitimate as their drowned-in-ai cars are.

Man, I could have sworn these people were right.

Pulling some of our AutoPacific data, interesting:

My calendar these recent months has been busily booked with Nissan products of all shapes, sizes, and powertrains. Next up? Battling the cold in this bad-ass new 2026 P̶a̶t̶r̶o̶l̶ Armada PRO-4X, which I'll be spending a week living with.

As always, feel free to ask any and all questions you have!

So the base S+ FWD is arriving this fall. That's the majorly important spec.

Folks, Nissan's redesigned 2026 Leaf is pretty damn good and it should be on your list if you're shopping for an EV.

Beyond an overly sensitive active lane-keeping assist and dumb door handles, I don't have too many dings against this Platinum+ FWD spec. Much nicer interior and ride than a Tesla.
January 26, 2026 at 6:01 PM
As expected, Level 1 charging this 2026 Nissan Leaf Platinum+ FWD's 75 kWh battery via my garage's basic 120v outlet has proven again to be a-okay even in colder winter temps. I gain 3-4 miles of range each hour its plugged in.

Slow, yes, but I work from home and don't drive much until the evening.

Hot take: Nissan has been churning out some *wonderfully* design interiors lately. Here's the all-new 2026 Leaf's cabin.

Splashes of blue, fine textured materials, and soft fabric spanning the dashboard. Lovely comfortable seats too.

I'm a big fan of this space.

Good morning from Hoth.

Wheels that Santiago Calatrava would notice. I ended 2025 with Nissan's all-new 2026 Leaf! The humble little OG in the EV game got a full redesign and the result is mighty good, folks.

This spec is the $41,930 Platinum+ FWD, whose 75 kWh battery pack returns 259 miles of range in ideal conditions.

I haven't had enough coffee yet to process Dodge's latest Instagram blitz...

I dig this new 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid's entry Sport trim. Plain black rims, comfy cloth seats that get flaming hot, Subaru's full ADAS, crossbars, moonroof, rubber mats, navi, wireless Android Auto, wireless charger, real AWD, hybridization bringing mpgs north of 30...all for $35,415 out the door.
January 21, 2026 at 5:13 PM
I fancy the customizable digital gauge cluster in this new 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Sport Hybrid...but good gosh its a shame lower trims of the Crosstrek do not offer a heated steering wheel.

Welcome to Monday! I just got off the phone chatting with a journalist about Chinese automakers and American consumers.

Given Canada's news last week regarding dropping tariffs on Chinese EVs and the green light for market entry...here's some relevant AutoPacific research to complement your coffee.
