Kirk’s wife knew she married a man who thought innocents killed in school shootings, like my niece Erin, were acceptable casualties for the almighty right to own guns.

So I’ll save my sympathy for her kids, who didn’t choose their parents, and for the husband and daughters my niece left behind.

And Google “closed loop Brayton cycle” - depending on the source, it either has excellent efficiency, or not so much. All solvable problems (probably, maybe) with enough $$, focus, and years of development.

And even if it did exist on some form, there are so many critical aspects that would need to be tested and proven — sure, looks like it’s working just fine. But will the turbine bearings endure and perform solidly for 10 years without maintenance?

It's astounding to me that this never comes up in interviews with Dave or the band. They've memory-holed this whole episode and the hundreds of thousands of deaths their support for this movement caused.

The biggest mistake the world makes is using the words Fox and News in the same sentence. "Numerous controversies & lawsuits surround #RupertMurdoch regarding the accuracy & truthfulness of its reporting."It's blend of opinion, sensationalism & political bias."

How Rupert Murdoch helped create a monster – the era of Trumpism – and then lost control of it
Today’s Republican Party is a very different beast from the one Murdoch exercised so much influence over in recent decades. Does the media mogul harbour any regrets?

One of my favorite things, but something which also causes me great consternation, is that people seem unwilling to understand that the confidence you feel about your conclusions is just a feeling.

You don't actually know you're right, you're having a feeling.
