This is a very good and useful news story. It reports on DOGE’s understanding that people hate them and what they’re planning to fix it.

It notes, in detail, that what they say they are doing (streamline/improving gov’t tech) was already being done by 18F, a gov agency they blithely destroyed.

Probably the wrong time to mention that in the fall of 2016 I had a horrible nightmare that Trump won the presidency, merged the USA with Russia, and jointly attempted to annex Canada.
