This is a lie as law abiding citizens continue to pay withholding tax and pay estimated taxes per schedule.

Federal law grants Congress the power to create visa categories and set or authorize fees for them.

The law generally authorizes federal agencies to set fees to recover the cost of processing an application.

$100,000 fee for an H-1B visa is a punitive tax rather than a cost-recovery measure.

The agency enforces these rules through penalties, but must also balance them with First Amendment free speech protections. The FCC does not regulate the internet or cable/satellite content to the same degree.

I spoke to Jack Bergman's office about the FCC the law that prevents them from content influence. They pushed back that the FCC didn't influence ABC/Disney which I challenged and asked that Bergman review the laws around the FCC and follow up. I'll post comments on FCC and his response.
