It's vaccination time in our household! I got my flu and COVID shots last weekend at Harris Teeter pharmacy while grocery shopping at no cost--no appointment needed. Charlie and Daisy are getting their booster for rabbit hemorrhagic disease virus (RHDV2) this week.

I encourage people to watch this video. The selected footage shows the professor doing nothing even slightly out of line, whereas the student misinterprets the law and hopes to impose her religious beliefs on the material.

Administrators caving to this is terrifying.

The rabbit rescue I volunteer with (Friends of Rabbits) took in 60 domestic rabbits caught outside on a farm. It will cost our rescue ~$200/rabbit (~$12,000) to spay/neuter and vaccinate them, on top of vet bills for many other health issues. We are overwhelmed and need support:

Good morning. Today we celebrate Loving Day—honoring the 1967 Supreme Court decision that struck down bans on interracial marriage.

It’s a powerful reminder that love can change the law—and the world. Here’s to progress, unity, and love in all its forms. ❤️

Glad to see Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland supporting Harvard as it resists Trump’s lawlessness and bullying. This is what leadership looks like.

Shame on those caving to Trump’s abuses of power and assault on our Constitution.

Destroying from within well underway. This is a hostile occupation—from within—in coordination with our adversaries and transnational organized crime worldwide. We can rid ourselves of them. They are few and we are many.
Per source, NIH has been instructed to hold off from issuing ALL awards to Harvard, Cornell, Columbia, Brown, and Northwestern (including med schools)

Agency staff have also been instructed to not speak about this funding freeze to grantees and applicants

I said my main goal of this trip was to meet with Kilmar. Tonight I had that chance. I have called his wife, Jennifer, to pass along his message of love. I look forward to providing a full update upon my return.

Speaking now from El Salvador, Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) says he was denied access to Kilmar Abrego Garcia by El Salvador leaders. And was denied a phone call to him.

Van Hollen: "The Trump Administration is lying about Abrego Garcia"
I just met with the Vice President of El Salvador as we fight for the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. I’m speaking to the press now with the latest on our efforts.

We called out Harvard in the past for inaction. So now we are happy to speak out with praise.

This is a major step forward.

It’s not just a lack of capitulation. It’s an aggressive effort leaning into public comms — exactly what is needed. Bravo to Harvard 👏
Harvard redid its whole homepage to push back against the administration’s demands. I mean, this is just a website but I think it’s kind of a great PR move: www.harvard.edu

I've been clear: if President Bukele doesn't want to meet here in D.C., then I intend to go to El Salvador this week to check on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's condition and discuss his release.

Kilmar was illegally ABDUCTED and deported by the Trump Admin. He must be brought home NOW.

Trump and Musk now come for Harvard.

After Columbia did the cut and run, this was inevitable. The only answer for universities is to join together and say no.

Also, look at these lies. Anti-semitism is a pretext used because it draws some support from Democrats. This is an ATTACK on freedom.
