Finally “finished” though I am not happy with the lighting, forms or the reflections. Leaving as-is as a reminder to do better reference and preparation.
Nice to do something that isn’t a portrait or a landscape though. Good to get back into it after a 6 month pause.

Tried this once. Didn’t mind but it had slipped off by morning.
Now kept well hydrated and given a treat every time she goes outside for her duty. We don’t have her on the bed any more.
After a few months, no more accidents but now I swear she’s gaming the system.
Not overweight. Just turned 16

What’s nice is that after 35+ years of making “data” that other companies and individuals profit from, that I often did not get fair compensated for, I’ve started making one-of-a-kind *physical objects* that others may or may not cherish.

Since the advent of the popular use of genAI and generally feeling “too old for this shit” I learned to paint earlier this year. Turned out working with wet media wasn’t as nasty as I thought.
This was my first painting that ended up winning “best in show” at a local exhibition.
