What if he’s not confusing Iceland not with Greenland but with Antarctica, and he’s totally expecting a call from the Penguin Politburo asking to join the Board of Peace? At this rate anything seems possible in this timeline.

I heard a second-hand story from a family member about a couple trying to cross the Canada-US border, and the American customs officer asked them what they think of Trump's 51st state comments.
They said, "Honestly we don't think highly of it."
Then they were refused entry.
