De Koppelpoort in Amersfoort dateert uit de 15e eeuw en is een gecombineerde land- en waterpoort. Toen in de 19e eeuw de stadsmuren werden gesloopt, ontstond er discussie of ook de sterk vervallen Koppelpoort moest verdwijnen. Dankzij hevige protesten is sloop uiteindelijk voorkomen. 1/3
