Just so I'm clear on this, computer memory has tripled in price because a bunch of it that hasn't been produced yet has been ordered to populate GPUs that aren't installed in data centers that aren't built yet in order to service a demand that doesn't exist to make profits that don't happen.

If you're using AI to write essays, eulogies, a text to your wife, I do think less of you as a person. Ceding your mental and creative abilities to a machine is an embarrassing thing and people should be ashamed to admit doing it in public.

I just had a terrifying thought about the rise of gen-ai and ita problematic use by students atm... If people become reliant on it for learning, it gives so much power to those gen-ai companies on influencing what people learn and how they view the world.

This is ridiculous. To do this right before Xmas. The game has barely had time to breathe too, give it a fucking chance. Fuck these c-suite execs. Watch them take massive bonuses this year too. Sick of this shit.
So fucking tired man. These are people who worked their asses off to deliver what they were told to deliver and their reward is unemployment.
